Ashley M. Canizaro, M.D.
Ashley Canizaro, MD, a native of Clinton, MS, is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist, board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is honored to be among the caring and compassionate physicians at Southern Women’s Health. Inspired by her mother, a Labor & Delivery registered nurse, Dr. Canizaro has committed her career to serving women in all phases of life, from adolescence to childbearing to menopause and beyond. She is pleased to offer a wide range of services to her patients including family planning, infertility treatment, endometriosis treatment, prenatal care, well-woman care, menopause guidance, as well as specialized surgical procedures including minimally invasive surgery such as endometrial ablations and robotic surgery; hysterectomy; myomectomy; laparoscopy; and many others. As a woman, wife, and mother, Dr. Canizaro understands the importance of healthcare for women and finds joy in the relationships formed with her patients and their families.
Dr. Canizaro is married to her high school sweetheart, David Vito, a practicing architect. Together, they are the proud parents of one daughter, Lottie, and one son, Miller. They are members of Pinelake Church. Her hobbies include reading, painting, and traveling.
